The Freelancer's Client Onboarding Kit

You got the yes. The next few days decide whether the project starts clear and paid, or vague and loose. This kit gives freelance designers, writers and developers in their first few years a complete onboarding system: a discovery call script, a recap email, a project brief, a rate worksheet, a three-option proposal, a plain-language services agreement, five kickoff emails, a scope-change form, invoice and reminder templates, and an offboarding routine with a careful testimonial ask. Every template is ready to copy, with [Square Brackets] where your details go. One fictional project runs through every section, so you can see each document filled in, with numbers that add up from first call to final invoice. The kit covers the part you control: getting a clear, professional package in front of your client within two business days. When the client signs and pays is up to them.

This template pack is built for freelance designers, writers and developers in their first 3 years. It's practical, written in plain language, and designed to be used the same day you download it.

It is not for you if you want theory, motivation or a get-rich scheme. It is a working document.

You get the full product as a browser-friendly HTML file, a Markdown file you can paste into Notion or Google Docs, and a PDF where available. Personal-use license.
