This explains what KnowFinch collects when you visit our store or buy something, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Purchase details: your email address, what you bought, when, and the amount. Payment is handled by Stripe, who collect your card details under their own privacy policy; we never see your full card number.
- Basic analytics: page views on product pages and which price variant you were shown, so we can learn what works. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- Marketing consent: only if you tick the box, we keep your email on our newsletter list. You can unsubscribe at any time with one click, and we never buy, sell or rent email lists.
Why we collect it (our legal bases)
To deliver what you bought and provide support (contract), to keep business records including tax (legal obligation), to improve the store (legitimate interest), and to send you news only when you have opted in (consent).
Who sees it
Stripe (payments), our hosting and email providers, and — if you opt into the newsletter — our email service. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as tax law requires (typically 7 years). Analytics for 24 months. Newsletter emails until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA) you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Email plainwork.support@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We set a small cookie to remember which price variant you saw so the page stays consistent, and a session cookie if you sign in to our admin dashboard. No advertising cookies.
